Terms of Service

Last updated: July 10, 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Extbuild (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Extbuild does

Extbuild generates Chrome browser extension source code from your text prompts. You are responsible for reviewing generated code before loading it into your browser and for any use of the extensions you create.

3. Accounts and credits

You need an account to generate extensions. New accounts receive 5 free credits. One credit is consumed per successful generation. Paid credit plans, when available, renew monthly and unused credits do not roll over unless stated otherwise.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to build extensions that: violate any law, harm or deceive users, collect data without consent, distribute malware, bypass paywalls or DRM, or scrape services in violation of their terms. We may suspend accounts that misuse the Service.

5. Your API keys

Generated extensions may ask you for third-party API keys (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic). Those keys are stored locally in your browser's extension storage. You are responsible for keeping your keys secret and for all usage charged against them.

6. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Generated code may contain errors, security issues, or violate third-party terms. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of generated extensions.

7. Refunds

Credits are non-refundable except where required by law.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
